The views from the cottage were absolutely stunning! It was the perfect setting for a romantic escape. We enjoyed sipping our morning coffee while admiring the breathtaking scenery. The cottage itself was very comfortable and well-equipped, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hot tub was a fantastic addition, allowing us to relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.
Although the location was picturesque, it was quite remote. The closest beach was a 9-minute drive away, which meant we had to plan our outings in advance.

My stay at North Muasdale Farm was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The property itself was beautiful, decorated to perfection and immaculately clean. Catherine, our host, was amazing both before and during our stay, ensuring great communication and going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and we enjoyed relaxing in it while admiring the stunning views of the surrounding paradise. Kintyre is a truly beautiful place, and we loved exploring the local attractions such as the gin distillery, Gigha island, and the Westport and Southend beaches. It was a bonus to be there during lambing time and witness all the adorable newborn lambs on the farm. our weekend getaway was the most perfect and relaxing one we've ever had, and we can't wait to return. I highly recommend North Muasdale Farm for a memorable and peaceful stay.
The only slight drawback was the bumpy farm road leading up to the property, so it's advisable to take it slow, especially if you have a smaller car with less ground clearance. Additionally, a small washing stand for drying towels quickly would have been helpful, although our host did offer an indoor washing line.
